I did my GP training in the North East. I have a keen interest in teaching and training, both undergraduates and postgraduates, and I am a Training Programme Director on the Northumbrian General practice Training Scheme. My other main professional interest outside GP is Occupational Medicine. I am married to another local GP and have 2 sons and 3 dogs. |

I qualified in Belfast in 1986 and moved to Newcastle in 1987 where I have lived and worked since I have been a GP at Roseworth since 1996. I spend 50% of my week as a GP which includes working as a GP Advisor to Newcastle Hospitals Foundation Trust. I spend the other 50% working in Occupational Health in a variety of settings. I'm interested in cult films and TV, Triumph TR7s and staying fit by running, cycling and going to the gym. I'm married with 3 daughters. |

I trained here at Roseworth Surgery before being offered a post as a salaried GP. Outside of work I like to keep active with my main passion being sport. I play both football and tennis regularly and in the summer I enjoy getting out on my bike. |

GP Registrar Originally from Manchester and studied at Leeds prior to moving to the North East in 2012. Prior to GP training, I was an A&E Doctor in the region. I have worked in GP surgeries in Newcastle and Gateshead as well as palliative care and mental health services. In my spare time I like to watch football, travel and do DIY projects. I also have a dog, 2 guinea pigs and a tortoise. |
